The Binda Dyslexia Center
Tutor requirements: 2 years of college or related educational experience; pass a background screening; attend a 1-day training at Miller College plus additional training in monthly meetings. Tutors meet with students twice a week for 1 hour after school. Stipend. Contact: Judy VanZanten, (269) 966-4093.
Reading Incentive Program
Work with elementary students (Grades 1-5); practice reading skills and read with them. Second Baptist Church. Contact: Thelma Vaughn, (269) 963-4640.
